NYC DRAWING WORKSHOP
The Space of the Figure
As adults we require experiences and education that support our sharpened sense of reality, increased capacity for emotion, and our enhanced sense of connectedness. Yet the academic skills we learn as children do not sustain a sense of satisfaction as we become adults.
Space is one of the greatest attribute of image making. Space is where we find composition, relationships, forces and axes of dynamic movement. Space can be simple, raw overlapping anchoring or an airy, mystical release of energy - Space is our container, and it’s our joy to create safe, fun containers that can hold all we want to explore in life.
OUTLINE
This live model drawing class will explore and strengthen:
Forming a personal viewpoint.
Clarifying and questioning observations.
Developing understanding.
Discernment of similarities, differences and patterns.
Through:
Learning to Feel the form you are observing.
Super sensitive recording of your Senses (the Sensual).
Creation of various Spatial devices to contain your figures.
These tools are indispensable to any relationship, professional or personal.
Supplies: Please bring basic drawing supplies and paper. Whatever you enjoy most is appropriate. I will bring some as well if you don't have any materials.
Preparation for Class
- You do not need to have any drawing skills to do this workshop.

PRICING POLICY
This all day class is $100 (We can draw afterwards as long as you want!) That said, Our programs are accessible to everyone. The amount paid is a "co-creation" of value between service offered, client need and retail price. Where it states THE PRICE, we ask that you pay for the service you feel you received. (You may also “Pay it Forward” if you wish to pay more or state how you would like your funds used in our community.)

- Are there minimum age requirements to participate?
No, but 12 and up is probably best.
- What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is ample parking around the event.

Snacks, all basic needs items.
